A Big hello to all of my Blogging Buddy's out there on this Friday!
I wanted to share a very nice surprise a lovely giveaway from Laurie of http://lauriescharmingdesigns.blogspot.com/
First of all she painted a very sweet picture of with her signature nest with blue eggs on the envolope-Love it Laurie!
And then inside...
One of Laurie's latest creative designs-a hand painted key chain!
There is the nest again-don't you think it is just darling? Me too!
Side two a pretty rose and...
she even topped it off with a very pretty soft green ribbon.
Laurie you made my day-No my week!
Thank you so much-I am so glad I won!
It has been really fun getting to know Laurie, and I found out we have a few things in common. She is one talented girl! If you haven't visited her blog yet I highly recommend you scoot right on over there and take a look around-so many beautiful hand painted items. Laurie is known for her sweet tiny paintings on spoons and charms. She makes an easel for them too with some beautiful embellishments! Laurie also very nicely frames some of her paintings and of course key chains like the one I won.
She sells many of her designs.
I know you will enjoy Laurie and her talents as much as I have!
In case you have been wondering where's Tam been this week?
Well I will tell you. I have had three birthday's in my family this month-one (my daughter) last week.
And then Monday my baby turned 16-uggh he's not a baby anymore!
He is taller then me by 3"-he is now 6'3" and still growing~
for cryin out loud!
Seems like yesterday he was my surprise handsome baby boy!
Now he is going to want to drive even more and...
do I dare say it...date~Gulp!
The old man of the house also known as "Pop-Pop" had his 51st birthday on Tuesday. Yes that means 51 swats when I catch him!
And I will too~ LoL!
I have also been doing some designing, cutting of fabric, and sewing this week. I will be posting some of that on my other blog http://applecreekcottage@blogspot.com
So keep your eyes open sometime Friday I will get a new post up over there! Fun stuff kids!
I have also been hitting one of my favorite places to
shop for goodies-eBay!
Got some great stuff there at bargin prices to help fill my fabric, and pattern stash up. Oh the joy of it! :D
I still have some more shopping to do!
I am hoping the weather man is telling me the truth-there is suppose to be sunshine this weekend! Yay-but honestly I will believe it when I see it. We might even hit 50 degrees-wooohooo! But if he is right-you guessed it we will be trying to get closer to being "finished with the big project"
Oh how happy that would make this girl!
I'm feeling the pressure of all the many, many things I would like to accomplish.
Including spring cleaning-oh big *sigh*
And no still don't have our roof, ceiling, and sliders fixed yet. Arrghh! That's all I'm gonna say on that one.
I have a couple of other fun things to post as soon as I can get them together for you.
Thanks for visiting-leave me a comment and let me know what exciting plans you have for this weekend?
In the mean time I would like to wish you all a wonderful weekend! Hope you are all doing something that makes you smile!
~Big Giant Hugs~Tam~
